Project results
The main activities during the duration of the project durations were:
- Development of a training toolkit for teachers for their involvement in European Sustainable Development in their education,
- Workshops for learners in relation to eco-tourism, eco-touristic activities, volunteering, organization and management of touristic activities in the region and creating eco-path,
- Development of ideas of creating an eco-path and presenting them to local governments for implementations.
In terms of the pedagogical approach we will use an individual impact method as correcting and enriching knowledge, discussion and also group interaction. These methods will be applied to motivate participants to actively work in the interest of their local communities and also in a global context. In terms of the pedagogic methodological approach there will be lectures, team work, problem solving, individual work, discussion, case study, expositions on the workshop’ subjects, and educational trips to the eco-tourist places.
The main tangible results will be: an eco-path prepared by learners, exhibitions, selection of case studies and the documentation of study visits.
The impact envisaged and the potential longer term benefits:
- All participants in the project strengthen their capacity in building eco-tourism as well as adult training sessions and model services in sustainable tourism.
